All companies need to grow. I have spent my entire career in one growth scenario or another. Either as an entrepreneur on my own, as an outside consultant evaluating technologies and turning them into businesses for clients, or within, as an "Intraprenuer." Winning fundamentals in a new business come from great strategy and operational success comes from knowledge and experience. In a great diversity of industries I have led teams to success. I can do the same for you.

Corporate Strategy:
My initial training and subsequent career rest on an understanding of how to formulate and execute a great strategy. I'm privileged to have worked with Dr. Hamilton Helmer - Stanford Professor and author of The 7 Powers - a guide to the Fundamentals of Strategy - first as his solo Associate and right hand and then later as his friend, partner and VP. I have over 20 years experience translating his concepts into actionable, real world strategies that have generated enormous growth and profits.

Operations:
Companies sometimes get into ruts. They spend so much time working in the business they can't seem to work on the business. People become complacent, the environment changes and operations and profit margins suffer. I work with companies to evaluate their operations and make modifications to increase their efficiency and profits. With 20 years of P&L experience as a senior executive and having up to 1300 people in my reporting structure I have seen many challenges and developed tools to fix them all, lowering costs structures, improving performance and turning ideas into plans and hesitation into action.

M&A:
I work with companies on these projects when they are facing one of two scenarios: They have a business they need to sell - either because it is in their best interest to harvest or because it's losing money and can't be fixed. Or, as part of their strategy, they need to gain a competency in order to improve their competitive position. With over 20 'soup to nuts' transactions under my belt I can work with you on any phase - from first ideas through integration.
